More Than Just a Market

Some of my favorite memories growing up are the kinds of things that barely exist anymore...
Little town events with big crowds.
Neighbors visiting in the streets.
Kids running around playing games they made up using their imagination.
People selling things they made with their own hands.
People catching up in real life, in real time.
That’s part of what inspired Max Community Market.
Not just shopping.
Not just booths.
A reason for people to get out of the house again.
Maybe you come for homemade bread.
Maybe you come for the soaps.
Maybe your kid wants to sell bracelets for the first time.
Maybe you just want somewhere to wander on a summer day and see who you run into.
That’s the magic of community markets.
You never really know what you’ll find, but you usually leave with more than what you came for.
